David Vander Ploeg

Dave and his brother own and operate B&L Bolt, Inc., an industrial and construction supply company. A licensed professional engineer, Dave’s wealth of previous professional experience includes managing steel fabrication and plastic component manufacturing plants, designing water and waste treatment plants, designing roads, and serving as a consultant on environmental issues. Property owner since 2003.

Mark Pyle

Board Vice-President

Mark is co-owner of an electrical and plumbing contracting business. Over the past 30 years, he has been involved with land development as well as constructing rental properties and commercial buildings for sale and lease. Over the past 30 years, he has been involved in the city Planning Commission and Tax Board of Review. He has been a property owner since 2003.

Richard Stewart

Board Secretary

Richard is a retired university professor and administrator. Member, Board of Trustees, Grand Rapids Community College. Experienced in matters pertaining to policy-based governance, and in producing written communication. Currently completing two consecutive three-year terms on Board. Property owner since 2004. Current Board responsibility: Chairman of Nominating Committee, Newsletter editor/writer.

Julie Anderson

Board Treasurer

Julie is currently employed with H&R Screw Machine Products in Reed City, as their Controller. She has over 30 years experience as Comptroller, auditor and many other areas of accounting. She and her husband Dean have been property owners since 2019 and currently live on the lake.

Dennis Bryant

Board Director

Dennis is a Real estate agent with Dreams Realty in Evart and Lake Miramichi resident since 1978. He has served a number of terms on the Board, including two as president. Over the years he has been involved in activities to ensure the lakes’ preservation and quality, overseeing and doing work on the lakes’ dams, and by controlling water levels in response to seasonal and weather-related situations. Current Board responsibility: Lake and Road Committee and Lake management.

Steve Wolf

Board Director

Steve is a former sales agent, business owner within Jim White Millwork, and a Sherman Township Trustee for ten years. He served on a variety of other township boards, and currently holds the position of Sherman Township Supervisor. Now that he has retired, he wishes to bring his wealth of hands-on experience in business and municipal management to the LMPOA Board because he thinks that “as things continue to change, it is very important for us all of us to work together for the benefit of our Lake Community.”

John Cataldo

Board Director

John is an independent businessman and permanent Lake Miramichi resident. He is the owner/operator of Triple C Excavating. He has expertise in techniques of construction and topographical management associated with excavation and grading, and in the use and maintenance of the types of heavy and/or specialized machinery requisite to such tasks. Current Board responsibility: Lake and Roads Committee.

Larry Revard

Board Director

Larry is currently employed by Cummins Sales and Service, leading service operations for the northern US performing daily service operations oversight for 62 facilities including the execution of all customer sales service deliverables, contract labor management, fleet and facilities, employee health and safety performance and employee development. Property owner since 2019.

Maurice Zarka

Board Director

Maurice is a retired project superintendent for a company specializing in large-scale commercial construction. During his 35 year tenure, he monitored construction projects in progress ensuring they were “on time and within - or under – budget,” and mandated changes in procedure and personnel as needed. The Zarka family has owned Miramichi property for 51 years; and he has lived as permanent resident on the lake since 2013.
